Shannon is a statutory Director of Public Health for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Shannon trained to become a qualified Public Health Specialist, working in several local authorities across London and Surrey and for the former Public Health England. He has over a decade of public health leadership experience within the NHS and Local authority, and past experience of working in the voluntary sector. In his leadership role on the Richmond place committee, Shannon will advocate for action on all issues affecting the health of residents and will support system partners to prioritise prevention while reducing unfair differences in health outcomes.
